• If you already bought a season ski-pass for a previous season you will receive an email with a link where you can renew your details, add family members, change photos and make payment.

• Legal regulations of the sale and use

  LEGAL REGULATIONS OF THE SALE AND USE OF SEASON SKI PASSES

  1. The purchase of this travel pass, henceforth season ski pass, gives the holder the right to use of the ski lifts which are open during the dates and times established, in both summer and winter season. The holder must have carry the ski pass with him or her at all times and show it to the attendant in order to gain access to any of the resort’s ski lifts.

     The use of the current ski pass is in compliance with rights and responsibilities in accordance with those established in the current Legal Regulations concerned with the use of ski lifts (Resolution DGT of the Generalitat of Catalonia dated 10/11/1987 and other sectoral regulations), rules of conduct set down, among other, in the Regulation of ATUDEM, F.I.S and other Special Conditions of the Baqueira Beret Resort which can be found for your convenience at the Resort’s sales and information points, as well as heeding the Resort’s staff’s instructions. The purchase and use of the Baqueira Beret season ski pass implies the user is aware of and accepts the established regulation, and agrees to those regulations by the signing of this document.

  2. The season ski pass is for the use of the individual alone and can not be used by any other person other than the one named on the document. No money shall be refunded, in which case the client shall be responsible for its due care; in case of loss or theft, the client may apply for a duplicate upon payment of 10 Euros in concept of processing charges. Any alteration, falsification or fraudulent use of the ski pass will result in its being withdrawn and all rights to the use of the ski lifts terminated, independent of any legal action which Baqueira Beret may undertake. The ski pass shall be presented to the resort’s staff when requested in order to be checked.

  3. The purchase of this ski pass does not include accident insurance on the slopes or liability, which the client may purchase apart.

  4. The closure of the installations during the season does not give the client the right to exchange or refund. The purchasing of this ski pass allows the client a substantial reduction in the cost of a daily pass and for this reason no refund, whether total or partial, may be given in the case of accident, illness or any other cause of a personal nature.

  5. Off-piste skiing is dangerous and is done under the skier’s own responsibility. Baqueira Beret S.A. shall not be held responsible for any damages that may occur from this practice. Any improper use of the installations, failure to comply with the rules of use or the responsibilities of the users set down in the aforementioned regulations, as well as any dangerous behaviour on the slopes, will result in the exclusion from the use of the ski lifts, enabling the staff to withdraw the ski pass, without right to refund and independent of any civil or penal liabilities which may have been incurred.

  6. Types of Ski Pass according to age:
     • Under 6. Children born after 31 December 2005. A document showing proof of age must be presented.
     • Child between 6 to 11 years inclusive. Children born between 31 December 1999 and 31 December 2005. A document showing proof of age must be presented.
     • Juvenile between 12 to 17 years inclusive. Born between 31 December 1993 and 31 December 1999. A document showing proof of age must be presented.
     • Adult between 18 to 69 years.
     • Over 70s. Born before 31 December 1941. A document showing proof of age must be presented.

  7. Application through our web site www.baqueira.es or at any of our offices.

     The acquirer accepts on his behalf and in the case of the minor he or she represents, the aforementioned terms of purchase and use of the ski pass, and is responsible for the minor knowing and understanding said terms. The term “acquirer” refers to a person over 18 years of age who gives his or her consent, by signing this document whether on his own behalf or on behalf of a third party, under 18 or otherwise who he or she represents. Baqueira Beret will not verify the acquirer’s representation title in each case.

  8. In fulfilment with the established Protection of Personal Information Law15/1999 of 13 December (henceforth PPIL) the information willingly given to us by our clients will remain in our files in order to better offer our services and send information and advertising concerning special offers and recommendations. In accordance with the PPIL, the user shall at any time have the right to access, rectify, cancel or oppose his or her personal information, by contacting, in writing, Baqueira Beret S.A. at Apodo 60 25530 Vielha.

  9. For the resolution of any controversy related to the interpretation, application or execution of the conditions set down in this document, especially those derived in case of accident, both parties agree to abide by the jurisdiction of the Court of Vielha.

• Documentation

  Documentation for the application of Ski Passes for the 2011-2012 season

  The season ski passes are valid for winter and summer for the dates and times established. They are solely for the use of the person named on the card and can not be used by anyone else. The 2011-2012 ski season, snow conditions permitting, is due to begin on 26 November and end on 9 April.

  All season ski passes purchased before 30 October will receive a small reduction in the price for Early Purchase. This reduced price is not applicable on types of ski passes which already have a reduction applied or discount for reasons of residence or other.

  Holders of free ski passes (under sixes and over seventies) shall pay a fee starting from 30 Euros in order to cover processing and issuing costs, VAT, council tax and other expenses.

  In addition the ski pass holder may buy the “Slalom” insurance which is valid for the whole season at a cost of 46.50 Euros. A family insurance is also available, which covers a couple and up to 4 children under 25 for 107.00 Euros. The insurance company is RACC Seguros and covers assistance, accidents and liability for skiers, under the terms and conditions established in the policy.

  The ski pass applicant, or in the case of a minor, his or her parents or guardian, shall accept the ski pass’s “Terms of Use” by signing the following:

  1. The application and purchasing of a season ski pass implies that the applicant-purchaser has fully read, understood and accepts the terms established for its use. Said terms may be consulted on Baqueira Beret’s website, (www.baqueira.es), as well as at the payment offices and information points in the Resort.
  2. The fraudulent use of the season ski pass, especially permitting its use by persons other than the authorised holder, will lead to its withdrawal as well as the holder losing the right to use/purchase a new ski pass either this or in the next seasons.

  When applying for any of the season ski passes the following documentation must be presented:

  Adult Season

  Unlimited use ski pass for adults over 18.

  • One passport-size photograph.
  • Photocopy of ID card /passport, or alternatively, name, two surnames and date of birth.
  • Email address and telephone number.
  • Acceptance of the ski pass’s Terms of Use.
  • Payment may be made in cash, by credit card or cheque made payable to Baqueira Beret, S.A. for the sum of 940 Euros. (900 Euros in the case of Early Purchasing, if payment is made before 30 October).
  • Please indicate if you wish to buy individual “Slalom” insurance and add 46.50 Euros. Remember that family insurance is available for a couple and up to 4 children under 25 for 107.00 Euros.

  Juvenile Season (12 to17 years)

  Ski pass for young people between the ages of 12 to 17 years of age inclusive (born between 31 December 1993 and 31 December 1999).

  • One passport-size photograph.
  • Photocopy of ID card or passport showing proof of age.
  • Email address and telephone number.
  • Acceptance of the ski pass’s Terms of Use.
  • Payment may be made in cash, by credit card or cheque made payable to Baqueira Beret, S.A. for the sum of 846 Euros (810 Euros in the case of Early Purchasing, if payment is made before 30 October).
  • Please indicate if you wish to buy individual “Slalom” insurance and add 46.50 Euros. Remember that family insurance is available for a couple and up to 4 children under 25 for 107.00 Euros.

  Child Season Pass (6 to 11 years)

  Ski pass for children between the ages of 6 to 11 years of age inclusive (born between 31 December 1999 and 31 December 2005).

  • One passport-size photograph.
  • Family Book, photocopy of ID card or Passport, showing proof of child’s date of birth.
  • Email address and telephone number.
  • Acceptance of the ski pass’s Terms of Use.
  • Payment may be made in cash, by credit card or cheque made payable to Baqueira Beret, S.A. for the sum of 590 Euros (565 Euros in the case of Early Purchasing, if payment is made before 30 October).
  • Please indicate if you wish to buy the individual “Slalom” insurance and add 46.50 Euros. Remember that family insurance is available for a couple and up to 4 children under 25 for 107.00 Euros.

  Under sixes

  Free ski pass, unlimited use and applicable to all children born after 31 December 2005. A fee costing of 30 Euros shall be paid for each ski pass in order to cover costs of processing, VAT, council tax, compulsory travel insurance, material and other expenses.

  • One passport-size photograph.
  • Family Book, photocopy of ID card or Passport, showing proof of child’s date of birth.
  • Email address and telephone number.
  • Acceptance of the ski pass’s Terms of Use.
  • Payment may be made in cash, by credit card or cheque made payable to Baqueira Beret, S.A. for the sum of 30 Euros.

  Over 70s season ski pass

  Free ski pass applicable to persons born before 31 December 1941. A fee costing from 30 Euros shall be paid for each ski pass in order to cover costs of processing, VAT, council tax, compulsory travel insurance, material and other expenses.

  • One passport-size photograph.
  • Photocopy of ID card.
  • Email address and telephone number.
  • Acceptance of the ski pass’s Terms of Use.
  • Payment may be made in cash, by credit card or cheque made payable to Baqueira Beret, S.A. for the sum of 30 Euros.

  Midweek Season ski pass

  Ski pass for use exclusively on weekdays, generally from Monday to Friday, except public holidays or holiday periods.

  • One passport-size photograph.
  • Photocopy of ID card or passport, or alternatively, name, surname(s) and date of birth.
  • Email address and telephone number.
  • Acceptance of the ski pass’s Terms of Use.
  • Payment may be made in cash, by credit card or cheque made payable to Baqueira Beret, S.A. for the sum of 400 Euros.
  • Please indicate should you wish to buy the individual “Slalom” insurance and add 46.50 Euros. Remember that family insurance is available for a couple and up to 4 children under 25 for 107.00 Euros.

“Slalom” Insurance

In addition the ski pass holder may buy the “Slalom” insurance which is valid for the whole season at a cost of 46.50 Euros. A family insurance is also available, which covers a couple and up to 4 children under 25 for 107.00 Euros. The insurance company is RACC Seguros (insurance company) and covers assistance, accidents and liability for skiers, under the terms and conditions established in the policy.
